Service Description:

This procedure is necessary to divided land(s) into plots upon a request by the owner. It's necessary to fill out the ad hoc form provided meeting the following terms:

• Donated land cannot be separated void of prior review by the Survey Section of the Department and in coordination with the Dubai Municipality.
• The separation is subject to the provisions of the minimal surface area of the land required to be separated.

Documents Required:

• Land ownership deed(s).
• Copies of passports and national IDs of the persons concerned.
• Copies of the Municipality’s maps following the separation.
• Land annexation application form signed by the owner(s) in person or their legal representative(s). With regard to public and private companies and bodies.
• Annexation letter signed by the authorized signatories or an official annexation letter from the Municipality.

Transaction Fees:

• AED 100 per each map issued + AED 10 in return for knowledge dirham.
• AED 175 per each title deed issued + AED 10 in return for knowledge dirham.

Land Annexation

Service Description:

If the property owner(s) wishes to annex a neighboring plot; or a group of owners wish to consolidate their property into a single plot; this procedure is necessary, provided meeting the following terms:

• Donated plots cannot be annexed to freeholds, but the contrary is permissible provided that conditions of the restricted ownership apply to the land annexed.
• Determining the full surface area of the land following the annexation from the Survey Section prior to registering the transaction.

Documents Required:

• Ownership deeds for land requested for annexation.
• Copies of passports and national IDs of the persons concerned.
• Copies of the Municipality’s maps following the annexation.
• Land annexation application form signed by the owner(s) in person or their legal representative(s). With regard to public and private companies and bodies.
• Annexation letter signed by the authorized signatories or an official annexation letter from the Municipality.

Transaction Fees:

• AED 250 for land annexation application form + KD 10.
• AED 100 as map issuance fee + KD 10.
