Definition:

Granting land is the assignment of a property by a person / persons ( in whole or partial ) to another person / persons without any return. The owner may grant land or real estate provided the presence of a family relationship as follows :

• father to his sons and vice versa.
• Mother to her children versa.
• Husband to his wife and vice versa.
• Brother to his sister and vice versa.
• the owner of an establishment or company to the same and vice versa.
• Step-mother to her husband's children and vice versa ,provided obtaining the approval of the General Director of the department.
• Step-father to his wife's sons and vice versa provided obtaining the approval of the General Director of the Department.

 Documents Required:  

• Grants or partial grants:

• Original letter addressed to Land Department approving the grant, while indicating the grantor and the grantee's type of relationship and land's particulars.
• Original title deed
• Original site map from the Land Department and Dubai Municipality.
•  Lease contracts, if the property is leased (for the purpose of collecting fees).
• Passport copy & and file No. for (Nationals).
• Copy of nationality card plus pages 26 and 27 for "Nationals ".
• Original letter addressed to Land Department approving the grant, while indicating the grantor and the grantee's type of relationship and land's particulars.
• Passport copy including the permit "for Expatriates ".

• Registration of granted Lands :

• Applying for a donation .
• Original title deed
• Passport copy.
• Copy of nationality card.
• Passport copy & and file No. for (Nationals).

• Registration of granted Lands :

• Attestation from the court or registering the donation in the Department.
• Original title deed
• Passport copy.
• Copy of nationality card.
• Copies of the lease contracts (for evaluation and fees collection).

 Transaction Location:  

• Application receiving desk at the customer relations department.

 Transaction Fees:  

• 100 Dhs as fees to issue the site map+ 10 Dhs ( knowledge fees).
