The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs1.88 billions , of which sales exceeded Dhs856.81 millions million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs1.02 billions million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 40 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD that was sold for Dhs87.455595 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD acquired for the sum of Dhs43.511 million and another in JABAL ALI for Dhs35 million
The EMIRATES HILLS THIRD area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 7 transactions. RANCHES followed it with 6 sales.
During the period, SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs130.97 million, followed by the JABAL ALI area, Dhs63.81 million, and EMIRATES HILLS THIRD area, Dhs29.67 million.
The biggest area sold was the 69401 sq ft in the SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD area, which went for Dhs87.46 million. A 43904 sq ft plot in the SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD Area was acquired for Dhs43.51 million, while 42070.46 sq ft of EMIRATES HILLS THIRD was disposed of for Dhs11.54 million.
During the period under review 129 mortgages worth Dhs731.73 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs160 million for an area at SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD. There was another for Dhs130 million on an area in SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD
