Request for Amendment of Tenancy Contract Ending with Acquisition of Title

Description

This service allows customers to register a request for the amendment of a tenancy contract ending with acquisition of title between the tenant and the financier. The service is provided by the Registration Trustees Follow-Up Section.

Required Documents
  1. Title deed
  2. Letter of tenancy from the bank stating the tenancy amount and start and end dates 
  3. Identity card of the owner or copy of the passport if non-resident

 

Service Procedures

The customer shall apply for the service through a service channel enclosing all required documents and settling the fees.

The application shall be reviewed and then returned where the title deeds and balances will be printed and handed over to the customer.

Service Fee

Fees for amendments to the mortgage amount:

  • 0.25% of the fees shall be calculated from the value of increase in the mortgage amount
  • AED 10 Knowledge Fees
  • AED 10 Innovation Fees

Fees for amendments to the mortgage period:

  • AED 1,000
  • AED 10 Knowledge Fees
  • AED 10 Innovation Fees

Registration Trustee fees:

  • AED 2,000 in case of an increase in the mortgage amount
  • AED 300 in case of an amendment to the mortgage period
