Request for Usufruct Amendment - Initial Sale Registration (Oqoodi)


This services allows the customers to amend an usufruct in its term or amount

Required Documents
  • Orginal Title Deed of Usufruct
  • NOC in freehold areas
  • Emirates ID Card Or Copies of valid Passports (for Non-residents)

If the buyer or seller is a company the following documents are required:
o Sole Proprietorship

  • Copy of the Commercial License - copy of the Owner’s Passport/Emirates ID Card

o Limited Liability Company (LLC)

  • Trade license + Page of partners and equities (original and copy)
  • Certificate of Incumbency
  • Original and copy of the Memorandum of Association (translated into Arabic where required)
Service Procedures

The customer shall apply for the service through a service channel.

The application shall be reviewed and then returned where the title deed and balances will be printed and handed over to the customer.

Service Fee


  •  2% of the Sale Price
  • AED 10 Knowledge Fees
  • AED 10 Innovation Fees


  •  2% from Amendement value + the following:
  • AED 250 fee for Title Deed
  • Fees of AED 700 for amending Usufruct
  • fee of AED 100 for Land map or AED 250 for Villa or Apartment
  • 40 AED Knowledge Dirham fee at the rate of AED 10 per fee
  • 40 AED Innovation Dirham fee at the rate of AED 10 per fee

Registration Trustee Fee:

  • If the sale price exceeds or equals AED 500,000 AED 4,000 will be charged
  • If the sale price less than AED 500,000 AED 2,000 will be charged

Special Registration Unit fees

  • For citizens, a real estate disposal transaction shall be completed urgently for a fee of AED 5,000
  • AED 10 Knowledge Fees
  • AED 10 Innovation Fees
