Taqyeem aims to provide a world-class service for the valuation profession in Dubai, as thus we have provided a
procedure for appeals.
- Appeals against a valuation by the Land Department
In cases involving a valuation performed by the Land Department, the application can complain about the result of the valuation
only via a letter addressed to the Director-General of the Land Department. The letter should include the reasons for the disagreement
or complaint and any required documents or evidence to support this should be attached with the letter. Letters without evidence will
be disregarded. Letters should be received within a week of the original valuation.
- Complains against Registered Companies and/or Registered Valuers
Members of the public wishing to lodge a complaint against a Registered Company and/or a Registered Valuer should complete Form AP2
(Click to download) and send it to Taqyeem along with any supporting documentation within 15 days of the related event happening.
The Land Department will investigate and endeavor to issue a written response within 30 days
